Before placing your Deer DTF transfer, give the garment a light 5-second pre-press. This simple step removes excess moisture and smooths out wrinkles, creating the ideal surface for the transfer to bond. Skipping the pre-press can lead to weaker adhesion and shorten the life of the print, so we always recommend taking a moment to prep the fabric properly.

Place your Deer DTF transfer on the garment exactly where you want it. Press at 275°F (135°C) for 8 seconds with medium–high pressure to ensure the design bonds cleanly and evenly with the fabric.

Give the garment a couple of seconds after pressing, then hot peel the film in one smooth, continuous motion — no need to let it cool.

For added longevity and a softer finish, place a parchment sheet or Teflon cover over the design and press once more for 5 seconds. This final step locks in the Deer DTF print for maximum durability.

To keep your Deer DTF prints vibrant, always wash garments inside out and use cold water. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and strong detergents, as they can break down the adhesive over time.

With proper care, Deer DTF transfers maintain their color and durability for 50+ washes without fading, cracking, or peeling.
