How to Use the Deer DTF Gang Sheet Builder

The Gang Sheet Builder lets you lay out your own sheet in the browser — you see exactly what will print before you pay. Here is how to get the most out of it.

1. Choose your sheet length

Every sheet is 22 inches wide. You pick the length, from 22" × 60" (5 ft) up to 22" × 720" (60 ft). If you are unsure, start by adding your designs and let the total guide you — it is usually cheaper to move up one length and fill it than to order two short sheets.

2. Upload your artwork

PNG with a transparent background gives the best result. Make sure your files are 300 DPI at the size you intend to print — the builder will warn you about low-resolution files, but it cannot add detail that is not there. Full rules in our file prep guide.

3. Set the real print size

Type in the actual inches you want, rather than dragging by eye. A left chest logo is 3–4"; an adult front print is usually 10–12". Our size chart has the full list by garment and age.

4. Arrange to waste as little film as possible

You are paying for area, so gaps are money. A few habits that help:

  • Group designs of similar height into rows
  • Rotate tall narrow designs 90° if it opens up another column
  • Leave about half an inch between designs for cutting
  • Fill leftover corners with small items — logos, name tags, pocket prints

5. Duplicate your bestsellers

If a design sells reliably, put several copies on the sheet. The marginal cost of a duplicate in space you already paid for is minimal, and it means you can ship instantly when the next order arrives.

6. Check before you order

  • Nothing runs off the edge of the sheet
  • No low-resolution warnings left unresolved
  • No accidental white boxes behind designs
  • Sizes are what you actually intended, in inches
